Background and Practice
My commitment to those I work with is not separate from help I've received in therapy and community, and what I've witnessed as our potential to learn from, and grow alongside each other.

I earned a bachelor's degree from Clemson University in 2010 and a master's degree from Kennesaw State University in 2014. I've been practicing therapy independently as a licensed clinical social worker since 2017.

There's more than one way to make change and I find a lot of value in active professional groups. I'm currently involved in learning Pesso Boyden Psychomotor Therapy, or PBSP. This is a primary influence on my work with clients (see pbsp.com and chapter 18 in The Body Keeps the Score, by Bessel van der Kolk). My sessions include a combination of talk, experiential and somatic approaches.
